Really loving Warframe. (though I rerolled as Excalibur since I is noobsauce)(see WIP [link] )

People keep saying Excalibur is easy mode... Yet it's Mag who can knock down and rip through the shields of all enemies around her with a single button press.

Just add a shield mod. It'll take a lot of hits (or poison) to even get to her HP.

Mag was my initial Warframe (Will replace with get Banshee when I can) & I mainly used Pull & Bullet Attractor. Pull for Dealing with multiple enemies. Especially Grineers, hate their armors, & Bullet Attractor against bosses.

Btw, there was something funny that happened to me once while playing. I used bullet Attractor on one of those Grineers that wielded a HMG, (you know, a minigun that gains Fire Rate over time) & it caused the Grineer to hit itself XD I mean, it's as if the Bullet attractor reflected bullets right back at the Grineer

Eh, happens to me in other games too. For example, in Borderlands 2, Zer0's Deception ability recharges kind of quickly, (can't remember exactly, but the base cooldown was a little under 20 secs) but if I'm used to using Axton, where his Turret's base Cooldown is around 45 secs. I usually keep forgetting that Zer0's Deception was charged when I could've used it.
Anyway, what I mean is that if I were used to Axton before going back to Zer0, then I keep forgetting that his Deception was charged a while ago.

Yeah. And then warframe just had to crash... Tell me is the lex a good gun? To me it feels like a mini shotgun.

Veteran's weapon spotlight: Lex, The Rusher's Sniper otherwise known Marksman's pet.
Lex is high damage sidearm with low amount of ammo on magazine, slow fire rate is rewarded with devastating amount of damage what is doubled on head shot dealing vital 140 damage per head shot when leveling up the gun.
Weapon is know from huge recoil but it is kept on leash by the slow fire rate so recoil doesn't really needed to be worried about. Accuracy is from highest tier of all sidearms.
Just like on tittle was said Rusher's sniper. This pistol hits like Desert Eagle of warframe. You can watch the weapon's stats from the shop.
Load out for Lex is simple:
Boltor or Shotgun of your favorite. Rendering your primary weapon to be reliant for Close Quarters Combat or close range firing position.
Melee weapon of your choice but I recommend rushers friendly Dual Zoren if you want a bastion what will not fall. Scindo or Fragor will become a nightmare to Grineers or Corpus soldiers. While Scindo slashes and cuts apart infestation without mercy.
For warframe most well Lex is suitable with Frost, Vauban or Ember. Basically I think you mostly want to give Lex for a warframe who doesn't have gap closer skills.
Overall:
Lex is every rusher's favorite weapon when finding himself unable to rush through and has to tear through the solid defense with this weapon.
Downsides are already clear you pay for this extremely powerful sidearm with low fire rate, small magazine capacity, pretty dangerous reload time and high recoil. Pretty much all these are eliminated with currently available mods Including few dual mods.
Recommendable mods are: Hornet Strike, Stunning speed (dual mod), No return, Pistol Gambit, Target Cracker, Slip Magazine, Barrel Diffusion and lastly Trick Mag will make sure you will never run out of ammo. That is our mod build squeezing out all use to be wielded to carry out judgement on the battlefield. Lex has durability to have a bit higher Critical hit chance than other sidearms. Sweet 15% chance of shoot out a critical hit is must get one.
Considerable nickname: Hand sized Doom hammer.

Oh. Ok. I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to warframe. Thought it'd be a good idea to solo a T2 void exterminate mission with a level 24 Mag, level 19 cronus, level 20 MK1-Braton and a level 17 lato. I got 37 kills before I lost my last revive.

You will need to grind for more levels on your warframe and weaponry. Also there is a lot better choices for your weaponry as Mag.

Yeah. I've been grinding recently and I am ready to potato my mag. I do have blueprints for a scindo, a glaive, a furis and a gorgon but I lack either the necessary rank or enough salvage, neurodes, nano spores and galium. No idea how I got a nav coordinate though.

Those nav coordinates are needed to new Derelict keys. To get Nekro warframe you need to first make keys to Derelict standard missions then you harvest golem navs to Derelict assassination keys.
Those missions has over 30 leveled infestations.
Just grind for those levels on your weaponry, mods and everything else so you can challenge a bit more of the enemies of the game.

Maybe I should stop trying to solo everything. When ever I join a random squad, there's always the one guy who kills most of the stuff.

The amount of EXP is shared to everybody with squad just stayΒ with them but also stay alert about remaining remnants of Corpus, Grineer or Infestation enemies.
