there's this thing with black and white, if used properly it can really add to the feeling an image conveys. Here it combines with the rain and low (high??) @@ perspective (I have no clue about perspective terms) but just the fact that the angle is upwards, he's looking out the window, his face turned away, it conveys this somber mood. He's also all alone in the room and sitting on the ground. I like this one a lot!

For some reason I really like this perspective together with the black and white is gives me an interesting feeling.
