So this is kind of a sad thing to give as a birthday present, but while I had the thought to draw a certain Scotsman for a certain fren's birthday, I got inspired at the last moment by her story The Sorrowful Scotsman and ended up changing the whole drawing idea I had to make this instead ^^'
Without further ado though, HAPPY SLIGHTLY LATE BIRTHDAY KathrynPattison !!
I struggled some with this damn pose and with that amazing kilt, but I hope you'll still like it! ^^
Also the song up above isn't Scottish, but Irish, though I felt like despite that, it fit with poor Scotty's situation up there :'3
I hope you had a great birthday, and that you may live on to write many a great story like the ones we've been blessed with before! You're an absolutely great friend, and I can't really remind you enough of that fact! So for that, here's a load of hugs ^w^

It's so strange to think about it but also so very flattering that you'd put something I drew as your homescreen! I was more than happy to try and draw this for you, and I had a lot of fun doing so, but seeing such a wonderful comment is just the cherry on top!
I can't stop saying it apparently, but damn it's relieving to hear the pose and kilt wrked out, and then the atmosphere! I spent a long time contemplating what I should do with the background, but I couldn't be happier knowing that it shows how harsh that moment in the story was, because holy damn I loved reading it even though it hurt so badly.
It came up in my head while I was drawing, as it's one we've picked up to try and sing with the choir, and I just couldn't help but include it despite it not actually being Scottish ^^' I can't say how happy I am to know you liked it! You're absolutely most welcome, I loved doing this for a great friend such as yourself!
