Description:

Originally commissioned by the Kuyaan Clan as a short ranged shuttle meant to transport light cargo and personnel from either ship to ship, or from orbit to a planet's surface, and vise versa, the shuttle soon caught the attention of the military of the Greater Rachion Empire . While the Kuyaans saw the shuttle as a well rugged, and versatile shuttle, the Great Rachion Empire's military saw the shuttle as a support craft, meant to be stationed aboard capital ships that didn't have the hanger space for the larger GreenRaven-class Transport Shuttle . While it was adopted into service with the Greater Rachion Military for this reason, the shuttle soon became a favorite as a VIP shuttle with high ranking military personnel, and government officials having the shuttle re-worked with a more lavish interior, as well as a a more robust array of counter measures should the shuttle ever be targeted by hostile forces.

Throughout the "Great 1,000 Year War" the BlackRaven-class Personnel Shuttle was mostly known for this role, though it was soon growing more popular in other sectors. Namely that of casualty evacuation as the shuttle small size, high speed, and great maneuverability allowed the shuttle to quickly zoom into a conflict zone, scoop up the injured, and then zip away to whatever field hospital was closest. Other roles the shuttle was well known for was that of a light gunship where most of the interior was taken up by an increased power pack, as well as some robust weapon systems that could be interchanged for whatever mission it was selected for. There was also an up-armored version known as the "BlackRaven Mk.II" that became the Greater Rachion Empire's primary VIP, Casualty Evacuation, and special forces infiltration shuttle.

Following the Final Battle of the War , and the successful evacuation to the Known Galaxy , the BlackRaven-class faded from service as shuttles such as the GreenRaven-class took a more prominent role within the Quadrachion Refugee Flotilla. That being said, the BlackRaven-class would still serve as a short range scout shuttle, and was the first Quadrachion vessel to not only see Quadradica II , but was also the first Quadrachion vessel to land upon its surface. That particular shuttle was later preserved, and erected as a statue where it first landed as a testament to Quadrachion's tenacity to overcome any obstacle.
