I'm a traditional colourist, but I need tons of practice...so naturally when I saw this, I thought it was really amazing! I hope (someday) that maybe I'll be able to work up to this level of quality. I have a hard time trying to get lighting down, so if u have any tips to give, I'd be most happy to hear them! ^^

Well, I'm self taught so i don't know how much of help I can be. Most of my knowledge about drawing is crude and comes from my own perspective (techniques that helped me). The only tip that worked me was practice to be honest, so that's the key point with mastering traditional art! For me coloured traditional drawings are easier compared to pencil drawings because creating light and shadows is easier with colours. I found it helpful to lay down a foundation of lighter colours and then building up to the darker shades. Also taking a note of the light source if you're using a reference for the drawing is the most important part. If you're not using a reference keep the light source in mind, the rest is of course up to your imagination. Hope that helps and good luck! Keep creating.
Also thank you I'm glad you think my art is amazing!

Thank you so much! ^^ This will definitely help! A lot of artists these days mainly do digital, so it's nice when I fine a traditional artist who can give me tips.
I wouldn't mind trying digital, it's just that my computer wouldn't be able to run the program very well and I would need money for the program in the first place...so yup! Traditional it is!
Thanks again! ^-^
BTW Thank u so much for the llama and all of the favs!!
