Playing Yume Nikki was very far from what I expected (what I expected: a combination of EarthBound and Silent Hill, what I got: a really big sandbox) and the crazy fan theories about everything being super meaningful are annoying, BUTI like all the weird characters and locations in the game. I guess that means I like it? it is frustrating but I do feel like playing it from time to time just to wander around. I just wish it were easier to get where you want to go and see what you want to see.

where are half these characters? i havent seen poniko, monoe, igloo girl, the black cat, octopus baloon, hot spring-san, train passengers, ot the fisher boy...
looking at that list... i think thats more than half... but anyway. i like the way you drew them. their super awsome in your style!

If you go to the world with the snow woman, look around for a while and you'll find a group of igloos. Inside one of them is the girl. Close by is another igloo, which has a puddle inside it. If you examine the puddle, you'll go to a pink ocean-y area. Look around for balloons which will teleport you, and finally you'll reach another bit of land in the ocean, with a point house in the center. Poniko's in there. Play with the lightswitch (you probably know that already)!
If you go to bed in your dreams, you sometimes end up in a department store. If you reach the roof, the black cat's chilling up there. Use the witch effect up there for extra fun!
Hot spring-san is in a little dark hut in the desert/wasteland area (with vines everywhere, and stone blocks, do you know it? You get there by a door in the black world).
The fisher boy is on an area which is just a long set of docks, all dark. I can't remember how to reach it... Octopus balloon is in one of the monochrome areas... I can't remember how to reach him (or Monoe or the passengers) either... but the train is cool. Sorry I can only remember a few!

If you need help you can ask me I beat it up on 4 days and did most all random effects on the game^^I could play again thought I love Yume Nikki.
