Description Wendy was built in 1893, in Belfast, Ireland, and worked for the now defunct Belfast and County down railway, after nationalisation, in 1957, she was transferred to a steelworks, which, gave her an appreciation for very hot temperatures, she worked there for 19 years, in 1976, she was bought by the NWR, and was sent to help with the milk deliveries, and she still does it.
