All done with 8b graphite... original size is something like 36" tall... i dunno. This is a ridiculously shitty scan/photo of the picture. My camera sucks ass and made it all grainy and there's insufficient light in my room to make it good... I shall produce a better scan when I finish working on this. I think it could use a lot of work.... Erm. Yeah. I might start afresh with another copy, becuase I don't think there's hope for this one to do justice to the photo.thanks to ::silxy:: for making the most beautiful and amazing photograph i've ever seen ever. [link] i mean oh my god... i want to hug her and her brother. just... the eyes are beyond gorgeous and the expression is so beautifully complex. oh my god. i love this picture so much. it's seriously the most beautiful thing i've ever seen. go check out her original deviation and leave nice comments.

Specifically, the nose and eyes are very well done.
I agree whole heartedly that the original photograph is gorgeous, and I plan to recreate it with paint and charcoal or graphite

I actually thought this was a photo at first; you did a really good job. I looked at the original which was completely awe inspiring because it is such a beautiful picture and I think you did this picture justice. The grainy look gives it a more textured feel, like there's something just out of view that helps tell his story. Well anyways ignore my ramblings.
