If you been living under a rock, then let me tell you that recently, the fifth instalment of Super Smash Bros has been announced and as you could guess, everyone is hyped. Including me. Now because of such a special occasion (and heaven knows that I haven't filled out one of these memes in forever), I had decided to give my own wishlist. Now this list is a mixture of people I genuinely want AND have a decent chance of getting in.

1. Spring Man (ARMS) Yeah, I had always been interested in boxing and wrestling styles and thus I love ARMS, especially for its wacky style. Plus, because of the whole ARMS deal, there won't be any Little Mac clones here. Now naturally, I have the poster boy here, but honestly, I would love anyone from ARMS make it in.

2. Bandana Waddle Dee (Kirby) I don't know how many of you remembered or not, but this guy is actually on my wishlist for Wii U/3DS. And he didn't made it in. But why? Return To Dreamland was popular and relevant around the time of Smash and the case is here with Star Allies. That and I could see Sakurai incorporating Bandana Dee's moveset from his playable appearances into Smash and still be a fresh idea.

3. Ashley (Wario Ware) Honestly, I am more than happy with anyone from Wario Ware, but I think Ashley has the biggest chance with her popularity and her potential for a fun moveset. She is a witch for crying out loud! Also, Wario Ware is getting a new game in the form of Gold so Wario Ware should be relevant this year.

4. Dillon (Dillon's Rolling Western) Okay, this is actually the most unlikely for this list, but here me out. Dillon is getting a new game this year as well. Personally, I thought it was random to give DILLON a new game of all people. Especially since I don't remember his debut game being that popular. Butttttt maybe Sakurai had a reason for that. That and he already appeared as an Assist Trophy in the fourth game. Little Mac had HIS ascension so maybe it is Dillon's turn?

5. Rex & Pyra (Xenoblade Chronicles 2) Okay, first off, no, I do not want them to replace Shulk. However, I cannot deny the amount of potential these two have. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 uses a battle system that is quite unique, having the Driver having to be paired up with a Blade. Rex & Pyra (Or maybe even Mythra) will work together just performing team attacks and make an unique moveset despite being a fire-elemental swordsman.

6. Ice Climbers (Ice Climber) Fun fact: The Ice Climbers were actually been planned for the Wii U/3DS version, but were cut due to the limited power of the 3DS. However, it is clear that this device is going to be on the Switch only so why not have them back? Leaving them out would make no sense because they got their own playstyle.

7. Dixie Kong (Donkey Kong Country) I WAS going to pick King K. Rool, but then I asked myself "Have he been in a recent game over these years?" So yeah, sorry, bud. Dixie on the other hand has. Not only has she returned for Tropical Freeze AND said game is being released for the Switch, but let be honest, did anyone picked Diddy or Cranky over her? Of course, there is the issue of making her different from Diddy, but I think she got a few tools to do so.

8. Sylux (Metroid Prime) I am not a Metroid fan, but I DO acknowledge its fanbase and Metroid is getting its fourth Prime game. So naturally, it is due for another character (Notice I said CHARACTER, not another form). Ridley is out of the question due to being memetic too big and Dark Samus should be just a skin. Now I do not know about the Metroid lore, but I heard a few people give some suggestions for Sylux and honestly, listening to their reasoning, I could see the potential.

9. Excitebiker (Excitebike) Sakurai has been notorious for adding WTF nostalgia characters. First, it was Mr. Game & Watch and then, R.O.B. and finally the Duck Hunt Dog. I thought about who may appear to fill the role in the latest game. And I think it will be the Excitebiker for two reasons. One, Nintendo has a lot of different racing games and the Excitebiker could incorporate them in his moveset. And two, Excitebike had gotten a track in Mario Kart 8.

10. Crash Bandicoot (Crash Bandicoot) Out of potential third-party characters, I believe Crash Bandicoot has the best shot. I mean he has a huge fanbase, he is becoming relevant again, he is a video game icon and might as well be the mascot of PlayStation AND N. Sane Trilogy is being ported to the Switch.
