How do you achieve this texture (seems like thousands strokes). Is it just many strokes, or another texturing effect?

This is incredibly good. ha ha ha
I like the way you make the digital media look like color pencil or pastel. The use of mostly neutrals really make the hearts stand out (even in the thumbnail).
I particularly like all the space on the left hand side of the picture. It allows some time for the viewer to take in the background and insert all the sounds and personality of the environment. It's a nice piece.
