The D.D. Girls were an elite squad of Youma who were sent to intercept the Sailor Senshi after they discovered the Dark Kingdom base at D-Point. They proved to be the most effective Youma of all, actually killing four of the five Senshi, but they were wiped out in the process, leaving Sailor Moon alive to confront Queen Beryl.

I was pretty happy with this particular DD Girl. I think the jagged areas on the arms and legs are supposed to evoke certain insects, but it also looks a lot like fur, and so these chibis in particular could be mistaken for evil Muppets.

Incidentally, the name "D.D. Girls" was a reference to an idol group of the time called the C.C. Girls, who dressed in a similar fashion but weren't, to my knowledge, murderous insect demons.
