Maybe I try too hard,
Or maybe not enough.
But sometimes, Baby, loving you,
It gets a little tough.
Whenever we make contact,
My skin will crave your touch.
It’s like there is too little,
But at the same time, way too much.
Sometimes it’s like I’m drowning,
Looking in your eyes.
Then I make sure I am quiet,
So you can’t hear my sighs.
I want to give you all of me,
But still I am afraid.
That despite all this time,
My heart will be betrayed.
