Description Done for Omicron, a map of the Underworld valley called the Eye of the North, where three ghostly city-states wage war on the shores of the River of Tears.

"In the North of the Underworld, where snowy winds beat down on bleak crags, there is a valley torn apart by war and history. It is known as the Eye of the North, and for the crows flying high above it indeed looks like an eye - an almond-shaped valley where the River of Tears spreads into a delta, then gathers again at the shore and pours into the sea that lies to the north of Stygia. Three cities share this land, though once there was only one; three cities war and trade and scheme, each forever trying to defeat her two sisters and dominate the Eye.

In the shorelands, the Primate of Hunger and his Nemissary inquisitors control trade and seafaring in the name of their deathlord master. In the riverlands, the Wraith-Queen and her Liminal champion produce the Wine of Endless Remembrance and tend to watery graves. In the highlands, the dokkalfars toil in the Ateliers of the Nine Terrors in service of their masked Hollow Kings, who control the source of the river. And everywhere, strangers are drawn to the valley by the opportunities born from strife."

The weeping face-mountain is a particularly good touch. Using human body parts as components or guidelines is an interesting artistic approach. The valley is another good one.

If I may offer one critique, I'd suggest rotating your frame of reference so that the run of the river is side to side. When I saw the thumbnail of this image, my first impression was of a different body part.

Thanks for the compliment.

As for the rotating part... wow. I did not see that until you mentionned it. Still have trouble seeing it, but I understand your point.
