"This time, there were many. Too many..." Rorschach raised his head from the ground.
He smelled the blood. He knew that the blood was his, but didn't know the point where he was bleeding.
He looked quietly around and saw Daniel. He was sitting against the wall and his eyes sunk down.
Rorschach was startled. Pain prevented him from rising up. He began to drag himself forward with his hands.
It hurt. Rorschach tasted blood in his mouth, but he forced himself to continue. He had to reach into Daniel.
Daniel sat motionless when Rorschach reached into him.
"Daniel..." He tried to lift his eyes to see was his partner all right, but his hands betrayed and he sank down on Dan's lap.
Daniel parted his eyes, he heard Rorschach's heavy breathing.
Rorschach's trembling hands gripped Dan's arm. His pain eased slightly, but when it returned back he squeezed Dan's hand even harder.
