Happy St. Patty's Day! And.... Holy Jesus Hell! I've Finally Got This Done!

Here's a drawing interpretation I drew around December of the Cryosleep moment from Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction. It may not be my most favourite Ratchet and Clank game ever, but I do love this cinematic moment so much.

I was quite in a variety of inspirations when it came to drawing all 7 panels. I had some Disney inspired thoughts when it came to drawing each panel and quite a bit of some Simpsons inspiration too. Don't ask why, but for some odd reason... every time I look at this particular cinematic moment from Tools of Destruction, I think of The Simpsons and Disney. I know it's weird, but I guess that is just me.

Each panel were done traditionally with mostly Prisma Coloured Markers, Pigma Micron Pens (for outlining of course) and some Carb Othello white pencils and white out for some effects such as the gas in panels 1-3 or the stars that are seen in panels 1,2,3,6 and 7.

Overall, I'm pretty happy how it turned out, but there are some things that kind of bugs me and I wish I could do a bit better on.

First is the text in the bubbles. Usually I'm fine with writing text legibly, but for some odd reason, this went off for me. I should of used the computer for this one.

Second is some minor drawing errors. Half of the drawings looks eye catching and well drawn while others look not very well proportioned and kind of flat.

It took approximately 3 months to get each panel drawn colored, scanned and combined them together. This would of been done a lot earlier, but there were some things that I was too occupied during those past 3 months, plus I was also drawing other things that I wanted to do at that time. Despite some of the flaws I've mentioned earlier, I'm overall happy with the image.

Will I do anything like this ever again? Maybe, I just need the good quality paper to do something like this again. I'm starting to run out. OH NOES! O_O
