Description YASSS!! Did it! Just one of my Cuphead FC Boss ideas so far, but definitely worth it methinks. ^^ So, it's basically an alien invasion that makes callbacks to the really old "Mars Attacks" and "War of the Worlds". Yeah, it's not 1930's, but y'know, I think it's still pretty old yet fresh. And these are the phases!

Note, I actually may have to re-do some of these, cuz I just recently came up with this guy.

-------------------------------

Marson Welles in "Martian Mayhem"!

Phase 1: His first phase of the fight has him simply flying aboard a flying saucer, as he uses his Ray Gun to fire different kinds of danmaku spam your way. That which is quite similar to Wally Warbles' feather attack, but the bullets travel differently depending on what color his ray gun changes into. I.e. Red Gun = straight shooting spread of bullets. Blue Gun = roundabout bullets that are far spread out. Green Gun = rows of bullets that travel up and down at intervals. Pink Gun = short spread of large, parry-able bullets.

Death Message: "My plans have effortlessly unfurled, so I may take over your world!"

Phase 2: Next, he pulls himself into his UFO, while he sends his Drones out!  These drones are dangerous, cuz they fly around a designated path, yet become increasingly hard to dodge as Marson fires a special "long laser" out of his Ray Gun that requires you to pretty much stay on one side of the screen. Weave up and down to avoid the Drones, and get out of the way should any of them stop, because that means they're about to fire a big laser!

Death Message: My drones need a wide berth, so they can settle down on planet Earth!

Phase 3: Finally...he calls upon the big guns. He flies his UFO into a Tripod Machine, which will fight for you the rest of the time. He constantly fires his gun, so you need to weave between the bullets by carefully minding the space between them, and watching how the shots arc. Occasionally, he'll lift up a tentacle to lift up his "roof", making a motion as if tipping his hat. Which will happen to release UFO's that beam down upon you, much like in "Threatenin' Zeppelin."

Death Message: "You can't beat my machine's design! Soon your planet will be all mine!"

And finally...

KNOCKOUT!!!

...you defeat him, causing the tripod's cockpit to emit copious amounts of steam while the roof jump up and down, looking like a boiling pot. Marson Welles turning red and sweating from the heat as he tries to escape.

Is the tripod based on the sci-fi book "Tripods"?
