Ah! Thing is we're basically working with the original canon typings. Haven't added in any new ones yet. But in any other circumstance, it would've probably been a Knight-Type.

Thank ya so much dude! I'm so glad you liked how this turned out! ^^
I might do their Megas at some point. Although, as for adaptations?
An interesting thought I have is that perhaps THESE are the original Gardevoir and Gallade. They began as woodland creatures highly in-tune with nature. But then humans happened. Their civilization spread to other countries, and some Gardevoir and Gallade populations particularly close to humans came along too.
In other regions, they are a LONG way from home. So...instead of being in tune with nature, they instead tuned themselves to better adjust to human civilization and company, should they ever find themselves in it.

Long ago, in the times much earlier than the creation of pokeballs, pokemon were just beginning to be domesticated. Occasionally, a Ralts or Kirlia would be mistaken for a human child. This is how they were domesticated and soon gained a sympathy for the humans whilst telepathically searching their minds for weaknesses to exploit in order to save themselves. Over the next few decades, the population of humans who had any of the Gardevoir line were branded as witches or aiding witchcraft and the humans were punished as heretics. The Gardevoirs seeing these heinous crimes of injustice among humanity fled to the forests. The ones who were associated with the punished humans were exiled to the forests. They gained a hatred for the humans and soon embraced their Fairy roots more than their Psychic ones which they'd always prioritized in the past. Nowadays, all of the Gardevoir line found in Elbion are loyal to nature and shun humans. Time has healed their hearts and humans can indeed form friendships with them, but it is difficult and the humans will have to endure many attacks from them before trust is forged. Show respect for them, their forest, and their culture, and they shall warm up to you much easier. However, the emotional pain that plagued them has made them block out their own psychic abilities and weakened their minds to the point that they are even slightly feral despite having a legitimate culture of their own. A distinct absence of empathy is apparent even with ones that trust their human trainers these days. Thanks to the fact that witches were always considered to be female-only in those ages, Naturally Elbionian Gardevoir both male and female will trust a woman much quicker than a man.
As for Gallade, they were always rare and the ones that were with humans were always knights. But upon seeing what these humans did to their brethren, they turned on the humans and were exiled to the forests as well. Their pride wounded and their hearts broken by the betrayal, they turned to isolation training and now are one with nature but remain active warriors who defend the forest they have so easily integrated into their very being. They lack the fairy connection and are much more aggressive and much less forgiving then the Gardevoirs. Each Kirlia that evolves into a Gallade thus losing their fairy-type immediately chooses a tree in their territory and this one tree becomes theirs to train with, slashing and slicing to train themselves, but healing the tree at the end of each session to keep it healthy and growing despite their training. Thus, certain trees in the forests of Elbion are much tougher than others as they have been tempered over time by Gallades. It is nearly impossible to cut such trees down as their bark is too strong and only the blades of the Gallade that tempered it can make any meaningful cuts into it. Even chainsaws have their metal teeth broken and bent if used on the Training Trees. It won't be long after attempting to cut the tree that the corresponding Gallade will arrive with pure hatred in its eyes and only rage to express to the vile humans who dare to desecrate their sacred Training Tree. Escape is futile, Gallade are much too fast. Now only death awaits such fools....

Now THIS is a very well thought-out backstory and lore behind Elbion Gardevoir! I love it!! Not only does it give more of a reason for them to retreat to the forests, but also gives them more of a classic "Forest Elf" kind of vibe to them that sticks true to their Fairy roots.
A big theme in Elbion is the difference between the present day and the medieval past. As much as people, including the professor making the Pokedex, like to glorify the ancient days, most scholars agree that in the past...medieval people were complete fools. Elbion Gardevoir and Gallade know that better than anyone else, even leaving human society because they weren't equipped to deal with something as supernatural as themselves!
Now they are. Elbion Gardevoir can understand that human society progressed, but won't give humans the benefit of the doubt until they know they're making the right choice.
Not to mention, Ralts....I like to think of them as the Green Children of Woolpit. Homesick when they're first caught. Aggressive to their trainers at first, but warming up to them through time and good treatment. Able to integrate into society, but always having a kind of wild, loose, rough edge compared to actual human beings.

Fairy Rings consist mainly of mushrooms, clover, and azaelas, yes?
All of them are very nitrogen-dependent plants.
And what's a good source of nitrogen?
Oh, I dunno, perhaps a decomposing corpse?
Fairy Rings almost always form where something (or in extreme cases, someone) has died.

oh lord
Which means that the portals to Elbion Gardevoir/Gallade's dimension is literally built on death. Welp, I feel educated!
Still...for Pokemon who use dead bodies as a portal between worlds, they seem swell enough!

Maybe give them a few Ghost-type moves as an allusion to this?
(and hey, I was wondering....would you be interested in doing some more Pokemon RPs?)
