As a forward, Miss Caldera belongs to ! Thank ya!

Just recently got around to drawing this, and when I did a draft for her character, she was pretty much the human version of Bismuth from Steven Universe. Had a bit of trouble finding a pose on Google to reference her from, but eventually settled for this! Looks about right, huh?

I think I have a thing for breaking female superhero stereotypes, by NOT drawing them sexy, and instead making them upsettingly muscular. Even gives a guys a run for their money!

POWERS: Molten Metal Transformation, Weapon-Smithing, Solid Metal Transformation, Absorb Lava, Strength

BACKGROUND: Her real name is Sunny Smith, and she was an expert at metallurgy. So much so that when her hero-less town came under attack from the supervillain Fissure King, she had been kidnapped, imprisoned within his Lava Dome, and mistreated into creating weapons from a molten metal imbued with strange, almost magical qualities. For a while she kept quiet...until the town failed to serve him after one ill-fated mission, and he ordered their collective execution with new weapons. She decided...she'd rather die than aid him in killing her beloved townsfolk. And so, she attempted suicide by jumping into the lava forge she worked in, to deprive him of his weapons.

Yet, she hadn't died. But somehow absorbed the strange powers present in the molten slag! She was able to BECOME molten herself! She could liquefy herself and become superheated, or solidify herself, and forge her own arm into a weapon! And she could change her arm back to normal by liquefying it again! She could even make herself into a giant by absorbing lava! And so, she decided to turn her back on her cruel master, and fight evil. While the Fissure King got away, his parting attempt at revenge via volcanic explosion failed when she absorbed the resulting lava.

However...if she has any flaw, it is her unusual violence towards supervillains. From her experience with them, she vehemently believes in killing them as a first resort, to end their evil once and for all. On one hand, she isn't always wrong, and there really are supervillains that deserve death by their own actions. However...she is also learning from Lady Millennium that being a hero isn't always about knowing when to take a life, but knowing when to spare one.
