Shock!!A colored picture!!
A very fun commission for *PookiesUncle
In the Disgaea2 manga, at one point Flonne dresses up as Etna to try and 'fool' Laharl. Etna had decided to become "Beauty Queen" and leave Laharl and her vassal duties behind (those familiar with the game would NOT be surprised about this xD ). Flonne tries to dress up and fool Laharl that Etna... didn't really leave I guess. Cosplay??? It didn't work needless to say.
(I wonder why...? xD)
I haven't seen Flonne in this costume anywhere else in color, so this may be the first! Maybe...
I had fun with this one anyway. Flonne looks alot different with her hair up. *hmm*

That was how Flonne styled the outfit in the manga (with the pumpkin earrings, the smiles on the boots, etc.)~ but I chose how to color it, since the manga was just in black and white. I think she would choose pink too.

Yeah, from what I've seen, vol. 3 has not come out yet... even tho it was slated to be released back in April this year I believe (or June?). The Broccoli Books website says nothing further about it, and when I've tried to order vol.3 at Borders, it never comes, it's not in their warehouse, nothing. No idea what the holdup is. The same thing seems to have happened to the english translation of the Disgaea novels. The first vol. of that was supposed to be out earlier this year, and is still MIA. It's kinda sad x_x

Yeah there's a series of Disgaea novels (meaning the majority of the story is all text -not manga- with just a pic/image or two per chapter). There's a site called DigiFlonne that has pics and plot summaries. If you look that up the site should come up easily.
I was really excited when i heard they were bringing out the novels in english (since I love the Slayers novels) but who knows what happened to them now??
