I love the painterly texture, and the lighting makes this so dramatic. The dark, mysterious mood really makes me want to know what is going on! Oh, and the subtle, lighter shades in the dark background nicely break up all that dark without overstating themselves.

I like the two faces and the back ground being dark, but the fire & magic for me is getting in my way of the mood.

Oooo, I love the lighting, especially that red and blue off to the right hand side. It really makes things jump out, with the sharp contrast on their faces. It's a bit rough, but with that in mind, I feel it makes it stand out even more.
