belial is the head of the medical staff in asmoday's palace. once a lowly nurse, he conspired alongside asmoday to start a revolution to murder ornias. belial also functions as asmoday's personal doctor, and is one of the few individuals to know about asmoday's high-risk medical conditions.

despite being very optimistic, belial is a sociopath who tortured angels for fun under the guise of 'science'. he crippled sariel's wings to make sure he could never fly again. he hates abnormality... despite the fact he has a rare condition in which horns grow all over his body instead of just two growths on the skull. he takes the time to rip them out of himself before they can fully form and covers them with bandages. they never stop growing though, much to his dismay.
