So, in the Pirate AU, Cadence, Luna, Celestia, Blueblood and Discord are all basically gods. This is a sort of concept sketch for Luna and Cadence

Cadence is the goddess of Love, Family and Peace, whereas Luna is the goddess of the Moon, Dreams, Magic and Ocean. Cadence is a relatively young goddess, compared to the others, and tends to be a little naive.

Because of her naivety, she became attached to a mortal named Shining Amour, she fell absolutely in love with him and showed obvious favor towards him.

Unfortunately, this made him a target as others concluded that if they had him, they could force Cadence to grant them favors and wishes. Because of this, Shining Armor went on the run and has since been staying low.

Luna is a different story, regarding mortals, she tends not to engage with them. Only ever doing so on few occasions.

Luna, alongside Blueblood, are the only two gods who rarely interfere with the affairs of mortals. They often berate Celestia for her interference which has caused many issues. Celestia often comes down to take mortals under her wing, guiding them and showing them everything they ask, this backfired when they become dependent and/or demand more, leading to wars in her name.

Luna has only ever interfered once, it did not end well as she was imprisoned by Celestia on charge for treason against the gods. This misunderstanding was cleared up 1000 years later, unfortunately, the relationship between the two had by then withered to what it is today. Luna barely speaks to anyone, when she does, the words are few and far in between.

Ok, so in this AU, Cadence and Celestia are more willing to help humans and often tend to pick favorites, whereas Luna and Blueblood are the opposite, Chrysalis doesn’t really interact with mortals unless they ask/pray for her. Discord just messes with them and causes general chaos from time to time.

The relationship between all of them is mostly like the gods from Blood of Zeus, they tend to bicker, pick sides and will often make bets that pin mortals against each other. Celestia and Luna don’t interact unless they have to, when they do, they snap at each other angrily.
