Okay, so I've found some great new brushes and I followed a tutorial online, and this is what spewed onto my screen. You know what, I actually like it? It's really nice, for my level of art-tastic-ness, and that makes me kinda happy. I know that the head needed to be taken out more, so she really looks like she's stuck in a kind of duckface, but oh well! It was a fun wee session!

The shadings good! Besides the things you already know need work - I'd say this is good!
Just fill a page with doodles of heads from different angles for practice lol. Face on is one of the hardest head/face things imo, so for your first time, it's came out great!
