This looks beautiful. I love contrast of roses,meaningful to story, with ice castle. t feels so real. Gerda  is so sad and tired, and bae determined. Kai is sleepy and looks like he for got something-Snow Queen kissed him to forget all, maybe this is that scene. she looks dangerous and devious, and protective of kai.

Oh what a gorgeous piece! I especially love that you've made Gerda the center piece of this image. She plays such a pivotal role in this fairy tale! She looks lovely, but so heartbroken missing Kai. The rose bed you have her lying on is wonderful, I've always liked the symbolism of roses in this tale, I'm so glad you included them here. The lounging moose and arctic landscape are beautifully done. The ice palace is particularly stunning. The Snow Queen is so striking, I really adore her design. The love the intricate detail of her headpiece and fur cloak are especially stunning. I like that she seems so protective of little Kai, who looks so lost within his thoughts. The colours are wonderful. And the composition and division of this piece is lovely. You have a beautiful way with coloured pencil! Makes me want to pull mind out of dusty seclusion hehe!
