Today marks 78 years since the U.S.S. Indianapolis CA-35 was sunk by the Japanese submarine I-58.If you read the book "In harms way" they say the time the Indianapolis was torpedoed at 12:05 A.M. Years ago in Wikipedia it said 12:14 A.M. I think the correct time was 12:15 A.M.
NOTE: There is only one living survivor today.
2nd NOTE: I posted this picture at 12:15 A.M. the same time the Indianapolis was torpedeoed.
