I need to get the bland-ness out of my head really, I really want to b able to make bright colours look good...
working on a kid-kid style piece at the moment (the pretty pen one)

depends on the colour scheme, I think. I feel this piece looks too flat, and I much prefer the more realist anime style

It only appears flat because it does not have as much shading, but too much shading is rubbish. It is very cool indeed

I used corel painter for this... but was a bad choice should have used photoshop. corel painter's better for more traditional styled stuff
