Ivy's quest to destroy the Soul Edge lead her to the Savage Land where Sauron ruled. Sensing the boundless and pure energies surging through Ivy's body, Sauron assaulted her. Caught off guard, Ivy did not have enough time to draw her sword, and Sauron knocked it from her hand and destroyed it. Without her weapon, Ivy could only muster up what strength she had to defend herself in unarmed combat.

Sauron didn't bother to use his powers to draw energy out of her her right then and there, or hypnotize Ivy; instead relying on his brute strength to subdue her. Ivy was no match for the Mutant and Sauron simply toyed with her, savoring the meal to come.

In the end, Ivy left exhausted, was put on her back. "Finish me off Monster," She begged.

"Finish?!" Sauron replied as he climbed over her, intending to brutalize her, "Your body will sustain me, forever!"
