Arising from the ashes of the great Cybertronian civil war, the Maximals are the descendants of the Autobots who have fought hundreds of years ago against the Decepticons. Whom were the ancestors of their mortal enemies, the Predacons. They lived on Earth after the Cybertronian war, where the human race was forced to revert back to their primitive days of forming tribal societies, though this time based on the knowledge and remnants left from both the Cybertronian ancestors, and the human race before the great cataclysm.

The goal of the Maximals is to discover the truth about their past, and fulfill their own legacy, and the legacy passed down from their ancestors. Which they dedicate themselves from protecting the human race from the wrath of the Predacons. Partaking in a new Cybertronian civil war known as, The Beast Wars
