Spear is a Neanderthal caveman who is named for his expertise in the utilisation of a spear. He is an extremely violent and talented fighter, utilising his raw strength, speed, agility, and intelligence to hunt prey, defend others, or kill enemies. Spear was a husband to his wife, and a father to his son and daughter. Until one day he was hunting fish, and came back witnessing a pack of horned tyrannosaur's kill his entire family. The enraged Spear eventually contemplated suicide, until he was convinced by a vision of his family to continue living. He later encountered a Tyrannosaur with a abnormally large fang, protecting it's two babies, who were attacked by the same horned tyrants that killed Spear's family. Spear joined the Tyrannosaur, killing the other members of the pack to protect the rex pups. Despite their efforts, the alpha of the horned rexes killed the babies, and as a result, Spear and the enraged Tyrannosaur killed the horned beast. Until eventually, the Tyrannosaur who would be named 'Fang' decided to join Spear, Spear agreed and the two became best friends and allies due to their similar experiences.

Today Spear and Fang survive the primal side of the world, from fighting a river of serpents, a herd of mammoths, a pack of raptors, a flock of bats, giant spiders, giant apes, and other malevolent creatures. Eventually, Spear and Fang encountered a human female named Mira, who would after showing her trust, would join alongside Spear and Fang, until Mira was captured by an advanced race who travelled to a distant land. As Spear and Fang begin to plan out their rescue mission to save their new friend.
