Description Continuing a trend of Biblical proportions, here's an illustration of Exodus 3:2 .

And the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush. He looked, and behold, the bush was burning, yet it was not consumed.

I like your use of simple elements. Except for the texture, the ground and sky are simple blocks. All the attention focuses on the bush. The fire could've perhaps been a little more complex. Still, I can again imagine the scene through this image. Seeing nothing besides the wondrous bush, Moses thinks: "What!? A bush burning, but not burning."

One point of note is that this was at Mt. Horeb, so a mountainous terrain would be accurate, at least on the background. Then again, that would further complicate the image.

I played around a bit with mountains in the background, but in the end, simplicity won out over realism.
