In my Transformers universe, Butch Witwicky and Hound are partners.

Butch is Spike's older brother, who's interested in the outdoor lifestyle since he and their dad Sparkplug used to go camping a lot. The metalscapes of his homeworld no longer interest Hound, as he's grown to like Earth inhabited by organics like humans and various diverse lifeforms.

Interestingly, Butch was originally gonna be the main human character and Hound was intended to be the main Autobot friend (as shown in a coloring book and in the 5-parter "More Than Meets the Eye").
