If Hercules (played by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson) exists in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, essentially being the MCU version of Hercules from Marvel Comics.

Originally I thought of the Hercules played by Kellan Lutz from Liongate's The Legend of Hercules to be the MCU Hercules in my headcanon, inspired by this fan trailer . He would also shares traits of the version played The Rock from Paramount/MGM's Hercules, who's movie the fan trailer also used clips from, such as his (seemingly more superior) godly strength, having long hair, wearing the Nemean lion skin, and backstory similar to the traditional Greek myth (though in the Dwayne Johnson movie, most of it turned out to be exaggerated, yet the ending implies he truly is the son of Zeus). The Paramount/MGM movie was based on Hercules: The Thracian Wars by Radical Comics, where his tales are indeed true. Interestingly, both movies were released in 2014.

The reason I changed my mind is because Kellan Lutz resembles a lot like Chris Hemsworth (Thor's actor) to me. If you put Lutz Hercules and MCU Thor in the same scene, they would look too similar, especially with MCU Thor having short hair now. I wouldn't want them to be confused with the other. Plus, the Lutz Hercules seems more noble like Thor in comparison to the boasterful version played by the Rock looks more like Hercules who's more in line with the Marvel's Hercules, and almost everyone pick this version as the MCU Hercules. I can picture the version played by the Rock being very smug towards the MCU Thor.

I wouldn't be surprised if he appears in the same movie as Thor, and they both end up having a fight over who's better.
