Overview:
Spider-Man is commonly seen as a brave and righteous hero with an indomitable sense of justice and responsibility. Shaken by his uncle's tragic death, Spider-Man's vow of responsibility has led him to a path of heroism and humanitarian service. He often has a habit of blaming himself, even for things he is not of fault of.

He is also known for his sense of humor, often cracking jokes at the expense of his enemies to ease himself of the stress of the situation, though he gets serious when facing threats that involve his personal friends and family.  Also, he does this to get on the nerves of his opponents, since he knows that if they are angry, that they would normally lose themselves and be vulnerable to a superior skilled opponent. It is generally agreed, however, that whenever a life is in danger, he will stop telling jokes and take the current situation with the utmost seriousness. Behind this humorous facade, however, is a wounded soul that has gone through much suffering. While Spider-Man is in combat, occasionally another person dies, leaving him depressed for having failed in his responsibility. Guilt over the loss of his Uncle Ben continues to be the primary motivating factor in his super-heroics and his life in general. Peter is quick to assume guilt and responsibility for anything bad that happens in his presence or that can.

Spider-Man also prefers to stay alone when it comes to handling crime.

People of Interest-
- Ben Parker: The closest he's had to a father figure since his parents were killed at age 7, Uncle Ben was a veteran of the Vietnam War as he saved a lot of men during the conflict, which made Peter look up to him as a hero. When Spider-Man failed to stop the burglar that eventually killed Ben, Peter felt immense built as his arrogance was what resulted in losing his father figure. He now takes responsibility to protect the city of New York.

- May Parker: His loving aunt who is struggling with financial troubles, who Peter helps support by working with Otto Octavius. She also teaches Peter about what is right and gives him advice when it comes to romantic relationships.

- Gwen Stacy: A close friend of Peter's who

- Eddie Brock: His childhood friend who he has been friends with before they could even speak. While their friendship has strained a bit indirectly due to Peter's obligation as Spider-Man.

- Max Dillon: A friend Peter made in high school, who he tried to protect from bullies since Peter saw himself in him. However, Spider-Man ended up being indirectly responsible for the tragic accident that transformed the student into a living electric compactor. As the electricity slowly fried his brain, Max Dillon lashed out as his classmates who wronged him, and Spider-Man ultimately had to stop him by knocking him into a swimming pool. Thinking Max to be dead, Peter feels immense guilt.

Impairments:
- His web-shooters can be broken and could also run out of ammunition.
- He often blames himself for his mistakes, even when something is not completely at fault.
