Description
Here is my portrait of Varan, the Unbelievable from the 1958 film of the same name. This guy is one of my favorites and is probably one of the most underrated kaiju. He was only in a lackluster solo film, and a three-second cameo in Destroy All Monsters (1968). He was also going to be in Godzilla, Mothra, and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack (2001), but was ultimately replaced by Ghidorah. I hope he eventually gets more recognition someday.
