People always refer to them as Powerfists, I refer to them as Power Pimphands, since in most pictures or games the wielder always has his hand open palmed and swinging away for some un-apparent reason.

Well - you don't really need to HIT anyone with a powerfist, its the field around it that makes peoples heads implode and deforms tanks like a heatgun on butter...right? So I guess open palmed makes sense, since that increases the radius of the field? Still, I like the DoWII take on powerfists, those terminator animations are beautiful.
