Description More stuff with caustics, this time with a glass that was laying on my desk. The modelling...sucks in this one, but it was mostly a material thing. Too many faces caused the subsurf to chop it all up, but the rendertime was very large and I didn't want to redo it, especially when the caustics aren't too bad. This could also be a household item, so I'll submit it to the 3DConceptGroup.

Created in Blender 3D with YafRay. Render time: 1:28:57.94.
PostPro: Signature and border.

that's beautiful- it looks a little grainy in the actual glass, but it's reflections look amazingly like the ones you get naturally. great work

Soon...I've been experimenting with softbodies, then I'll get to it. I should be submitting a softbody animation in a couple minutes.

I love this- you'd be surprised but it's rather inspiring; I can picture several different things linked to this. You did a great job, dude.

I can make some...what aspect are you talking about? The caustics, or the b/w mood?
