Made this especially for Halloween! also as part of Creatures of the Night contest from
I might as well relate it to my old Elven Mages series
So she's the forgotten sister of the four, a dark one. Or, at least, a symbolic version of it.
She represents depression by being blind, like how a person is corrupted with madness only sees what she wants to see (the mind's eye); the struggle of sadness; balanced between love (rose) and death (white lily). All the fun stuff for you horror nerds.
OH and no, it does NOT represent my state of being. i'm a healthy.. happy guy... i think..

I meant the crescent moon jewelry. I get what you mean, the minds eye. It's a pretty cool piece with a lot of symbolizes that most wouldn't take notice.
Usually there would be a moon in the center between the two crescent moons, symbolizing the triple goddess. The maiden, mother and crown. Or moon phases. I was just curious because of the huge amounts of thought that went into it and was curious if this character decided upon a different path than the regular symbolism through the minds eye.

i guess the moons are one of things I've seen in my life, put it in my brain library, and it popped out randomly when i made this image, because i thought it might look cool? sorry, i'm quite sure that's not an answer you were expecting. lol
