Taken 10/2-10.I was really trying to do something sensible, but it was much more tempting trying to take a few droplet pictures with the new feathers I bought a while ago. Here's the result

What I do with them? I just keep them in a bag in a drawer until I need them, and use them as long as I can (so far I haven't thrown any away, they all still look perfectly alright). It can be a hassle keeping them in the bag, though

I think this is one of the best drop pictures you've ever taken. It is sharp, brilliantly composed and I love the light shining in from the back. There is a silence resting over the whole composition, I think: the feather, with all it's beautiful colours, lies there flat, silent - with the (rather large, or so it seems) drop on top of it.. I don't know how to describe it.
It really is a wonderful picture. You're so clever!

YAY NEW DROPLET PICTURE.
Oh myyyyyyyyyyy, that's brilliant droplet picture!
You couldn't have picked a better spot for the droplet to be placed, and you couldn't have picked a better angle! Maybe you could have, but it's just so beautiful this way! The way the feather shines around the edges outside of the droplet so it enhances the shadows and intenseness of the droplet! And then the droplet itself! I just love the glow at the bottom, almost as if had an underglow, and then the reflective top makes it look so edible! Which is a good thing. And of course, the middle of the droplet, how it turns from dark brown, blackish to a lighter brown black where you can see the indiviual lines of the feather! Oh my, if it weren't for the fact that I love yellow, this would have definitely been my favourite!
