Before a gig I often feel like a child before this vast and big universe with endless potential, possibilities and energy. Letting go of ones identity as a performer/musician/artist is a beautiful process, and when moments of beauty come up they can be incredibly powerful and even overwhelming - and because of this we can sometimes get caught up by seeking to repeat those experiences, again to find that thats exactly the thing we now need to let go of, and so the cycle repeats itself yet again...
