And finally for today, we have the last form of the Lakairit line, we have the last of the final stages of the starters, the Water/Fairy Kaifeyren. Some tidbits will be resisted for the sake of those who just found this one before the earlier form.

This starter, like all three starters, is going to take inspiration from one of the Destiny Islands trio. In this case, it was Kairi, and this one had a lot of ideas tossed around in my head to make it work. I tried combining her with kelpies, various aquatic horses, and other animals, but starting from something like a manatee felt awkward. Then I remembered Marsh Hare randomly and wondered if some rabbits were good swimmers. Sure enough, Swamp Rabbits and Marsh Hares were a thing, and so it was enough justification for me to make a Water-type rabbit.

The final stage mythological inspirations came about when helped bounce ideas off me for a new concept after the failed water horse from manatee angle. He suggested to go with a literal fairy, so I looked into that, came across sprites and pixies, and so I combined elements of those creatures with the more heavy handed aquatic look with the mermaid tail, tossing in sirens into it as well.

I will admit, once the design was made, I made the shiny colors first to get their design inspirations more obvious reference, while taking colors from previously established starters to figure out how I wanted that to play out. And while I may have had some help from , I feel satisfied with most of the color combinations. In this case, we have KHI & KHIII inspired colors for the shiny (the one time where I concede that the black-coated KHIII design looks good even if I didn't use a lot of black), and a regular color palette I'd compare to Piplup and Mudkip, almost. The pink is added to the wings for a little pop of color to make them stand out and add to the fairy-typing. The star on there is to represent the charm she gives to Sora.

In terms of what else is presented on the dex entry, we have the height and weight comparisons compared to Travis/Wanda under the name, what you'll likely see in the hypothetical game's actual Pokedex entry underneath that, the typings on the right side followed by their abilities (both normal and hidden), as well as the base stat spread. More on the stats by the end of the line, but the ability is obviously a typical starter ability with Torrent, while Serene Grace to show how Kairi is a good support and can help boost others' powers works as a hidden ability.

One thing I wanted to include on here is the signature move for the final stage, but I didn't have enough space to fit what I needed to, so here's what we have for the that signature move.

Again, thanks to for helping me come up with some of these ideas. This one is mostly Pika's idea as he suggested a Fairy-type Phantom Force to mimic how Kairi keeps vanishing from time to time and work it into her Fakemon's moves. Is this move balanced? I don't know, but you can let me know. And what moves do you think this line would have?
