My scanner hates me... -_-;But anyways.... LOOK!!!
Look how better I have gotten!! I'm so happy and it's been awhile since I last posted a pic in graphite!
You know, I think my graphite pics look better then my Digital ones. O.o
Oh... well...Ok ok... I know I should be working on my Christmas comic but have I other things that I Have to do in life other then drawing. With those others things in the way it's hard to draw when your already tired. *sigh*
But I Will finish the comic! Thus I swear!

Yeah, I'm always fighting my scanner with my pencil work too. >.< I have to put heavy stuff on top of it to get a clearer image.

I know! You know when you have your hand on the paper too long and your hand gets all sweaty and it gets into the paper? Well my first scan of this you could see all my finger prints!
So I had to go back and erase the outside area and scan it again. -_-; Ugg... I hate that when it happens...

Yeah, I can only get mine to look right if I use mechanical pencil and go back and erase all my pencil finger prints and go back over all my lines hard in the pencil. It's a pain, and my gf likes to brush off all the eraser crumbs which leaves smudges in the pencil line. Now I just blow on it until the crumbs fall away. I think you can still see eraser crumbs in many of my pieces though. >.< And then on top of it no drawing paper seems to be the size of my scanner. It is all a little larger which leaves horrible scanner marks I have to shop off. >.< Sorry, that was a lot of complaining there.

That's exactly what I do when I draw! 
Smudges are a pain! Especially when your finally done then when you have to take unwanted stuff off... that happens!
Really? The paper I use is small compared to the scanner I have.

Yeah, I have smudges all over the place. I should just color stuff but I can never find the time.
I'm so jealous of your either small nice paper or enormous scanner. XD
I did. It's pretty cool. I really like the bg. It looks like so much work. He looks cute though, and I like his hands too.
I get so lazy with my bgs sometimes. lol.
Yeah, I think your turtles are getting more expressive. I'm struggling to figure out how to draw turtles myself. I'm way better with humans I think.

What smudges? Alright so there are few smudges but it's not that bad.
Funny thing is I didn't know we had a scanner for the pass 7 years until almost a year ago when I wanted to find a better way to post my drawings instead of take pictures of them.

Yeah those are *shifty eyes* movement lines. Are you sure? I think some people never have these issues. They just wave their magic pencil or sketch directly online. I have to sketch first, then scan, then color if I'm going to use digital coloring. I like the way paint and pencil look anyway, but now there is such a push for digital I feel I must try harder.
Wow! 7 years?! That's a long time. lol. I think I've gone through 3 or four scanners in that time. XD You probably do have a larger ancient scanner or something. Bet it takes forever to scan. I've never tried taking pics of my drawings. I bet I'd have even more issues. lol
Welcome. Keep it up. Yeah, I've only tried to draw the turtles full sized once ever so I guess I shouldn't really be whining about it. Chances are I'll just end up posting more ATLA art anyway. That's what everyone keeps asking for. I just can't seem to figure out my turtle style. I want something like the cg movie flat, but slightly different. It sounds like no easy task.

I do that too, scan then digital draw over it.
It was never used. You see the scanner is also our printer, not those huge ones you see at a library. It's a smaller one. We only used the printer never scanner until I started using it and it scans in between fast and slow.

Ooooo... trick question. I tried to do the 2k3 series turtles but that didn't go to well then I started looking at other peoples art to see how they do it that way I can create my own way and it worked!

Our scanner is a scanner, printer, copier.
Hmm... guess that's what I need to do. I need to look at all the turtles stuffs and just figure out my own way.
