It's been a while since I've had something of Butters to upload but this weekend we let Loki and Butters out (under our strict supervision to their dismay) to enjoy the nature. While Loki goes straight for the grass--Butters enjoys the other side of nature: our concrete driveway and stone walkway. He enjoys thoroughly rolling and rolling and then rolling some more all over anything stone....Yeah, I don't get it.
This one was capture after he'd stopped rolling for a couple of minutes and stretched out a little. It is only the luckiest chance that I caught the nanosecond of him looking right at me because there were just so many things going on for him to look at.

Thank you so much!!! We definitely love him--though this morning he jumped up on the bed where my husband is sleeping and I watch him walk right up to his face and say "MEW!" like it was going to get my hubby up so that Butters could get some lovies. LOL

Awwww... We have a ginger one (Murry is also in my gallery), and he does the classic by going up to my husband and stretching his paw out, taps him on the arm or the chest when it's time (according to him) to be fed!

Ah Butters! Yes, my boys used to do that very thing too if and when I'd ever let them out!!! It's called trying to get every piece of dirt and grime possible deep down into their coat...which works really good on a solid black cat! LOL! Your Butters is so pretty!

Oh Cynthia, I'm about to put up a few more of Butters and Loki that have a funny story to go with Butters...he's starting to get used to nature and I swear. When he gets out in the yard he finds the ONE bare patch of dirt to roll around it. Sheesh! lol

He is!! And such a swishy tail too--his tail is extremely expressive and in the summer when he's laying on the chair back behind me, I'll tweak him a little now and then to make that tail into a fan.

LOL It's more that Butters doesn't like "nature" or being out in the grass. He walks around like he's stepping in something yucky. Such an ODD cat!!

LOL Nope. He just wants his lovies--he follows me into the bathroom where I then I have to give him scratchies, then he comes into the closet with me where I have to give scratchies, then back into the bathroom where he waits patiently for me to give him scratchies every so often. I've created a Scratchie Monster!!!
