Description I felt that it was necessary to have a photo that signifies Christmas uploaded on Christmas day while I have the chance. I am thankful to each and every one of you who have commented, faved, and otherwise helped keep my confidence up while I continue on my journal to finding myself as a photographer. Your support has always been what kept me going since I started on deviantArt two years ago and I believe that I have grown and improved because of you. Thank you to everyone, your support has meant so much to me.



I took this last night while my husband played his heart out on Guitar Hero, using some Christmas lights and a thin piece of muslin for the background. The only other lighting was one desklamp I had positioned off camera pointed to the ceiling to give some diffused light.

Thanks so much! When it gets to be cold out and getting dark so fast, I find I have to start thinking of things to do indoors. LOL

Actually it was. I got to spend Christmas day with my family for the first time in four years. It was happy for all concerned.

I truly hope that your christmas was filled with equal, if not more cheer, comfort and joy.

Well I tried again to mimic the time warp one at my mom's today...bored...but no tripod. I haven't looked yet, but I may have one worth sharing. Hope you had a good day. Sitting here editting Christmas pictures... now that I am the non-official family photographer....slim pickins here.

I'll look for it! I usually end up as the non official family photographer myself, without pay and generally with comments like "So you'll send me the digital images right?" Oi. But today I left the camera home and only brought it out to photograph some random gift leftovers and then one of my cats making himself into a present by getting in a box.

LOL!!! too funny... I did get some ok shots, but it is hard at my mom's where the lighting is so dang crappy. Tomorrow is his moms....and like 30+ family members....that's right... his mom and dad had 5 kids, they each had 2 to 5 kids, etc. Oh the joys!
