I've not decided to put this page under a mature content filter, although the next few pages will have to be. However, I will write the dialogue in the description, just so that anyone who can't see it can still understand what's going on.
If you think this page should be under a mature content filter let me know and I'll change it, I'm a little unsure about what goes on DeviantArt still.

So here we are... Kubwa and Milele's luck finally ran out.
You may be wondering why I chose to let this happen, well here are my reasons:
- Ahadi and his brothers have to return to the Pridelands for my other story to start, this means Kubwa will definitely take them there at some point.
- I wanted to show the similarities between Kubwa and Scar after this traumatic event, showing where Scar got his personality and appearance from.
- I my headcanon, claws are constantly extended after a traumatic event, and I am using this scene to demonstrate this, which mirrors Scar's claws.

I understand this will be upsetting (I'm sad to not be drawing Milele anymore, she was such a sunshine!), but rest assured that there will still be lots of happy, fluffy scenes in this comic, so make sure to stick around for them!

Unfortunately I may have to leave you on a cliffhanger, because I start university next week and I won't have much time to draw while I settle in. However, I will do my best to get pages out as quickly as possible, so please be patient!
