In my headcannon Zira is never "attracted" to any males. She loves Scar, but not in any romantic fashion. Part of her lack of any attraction for males comes from the trauma her father caused her, creating a general mistrust for males. But Scar was different, he saved her and he understood her when no one else could. They were best friends through their whole lives, you would rarely see them apart. Scar and Zira calculated the death of Mufasa together for if there was anything Scar wanted she would get it for him. Zira didn't care that Scar liked Sarafina, and would joke with him about his crush, she hunted specifically for her while she was pregnant with Scar's cub. She had Nuka with Scar as a backup heir if Sarafina didn't produce a healthy one, but Nuka wasn't good enough for Scar so he wasn't good enough for her. During Scar's region Zira was Scar's right hand lion, filling out whatever work she needed done. She was treated well by Scar (or as well as Scar can treat someone lol) You would commonly see them discussing matters in a calculated way in the dark, staring ominously at anyone who would interrupt them. Zira viewed Scar as an extension of herself, so when he died she was shattered, she had truly lost a part of herself.
The only time she took mates was for the soul purpose of having cubs, she never had any romantic interest in males
