The main character from Final Fantasy 5, my favourite Final Fantasy game.

Bartz, much like the other three main characters, Lenna, Faris and Galuf, his role in the game is whatever you want to be, as FF5's gimmick is swapping between job classes like Black Mage, Samurai, Thief, etc any time you want and trying to master all of them.

And unlike characters like Cloud or Squall who appear dark and moody, always serious and never funny. Bartz is the total opposite, in fact, he's actually kind of an idiot, and FF5's writing is something I'd expect from a Saturday Morning Cartoon.
