The beginning of an epilogue for the Otherworld Homefront storyline. Now that Deathwatch and her generals have been defeated, everyone returns to their own dimension, dropped off on a convenient rooftop. Now Garrison, still in SaberCat's body fromduring the battle, decides to start socializing with a certain demographic of the heroes involved in the battle. But now it's time to go home.

I'm probably reading this in the wrong order, so sorry if this is a stupid question: Who's Garrison and how has he taken over Sabrecat? And what does he mean that Benny robbed him of Sabrecat's body? Nice characterization here anyway - good scene

This is Garrison: The Proud Warrior
He's an ancient warrior who is the source of SaberCat's powers. Most of his backstory is explained here: SC-Digging For Answers P.14
Garrison's essence was kept in this rock: Benny came into contact with it, and so Garrison's spirit now lives in Benny. Though Garrison has been dormant all this time, Benny was able to tap into Garrison's power and can transform into Garrison's form, his "body". In SaberCat form, Benny is in control of Garrison's body. After the mental swap, Garrison is in control of the cat form, which he still thinks of as his body, even though it really is Benny's body but shifted to look like his old body. Garrison may be a little resentful towards Benny since he gets to run around in his old form while he's reduced to being a spirit, who can only come out during special circumstances.
