Hey again all, here's my second, and possibly final Halloween update. (I've got a long day of classes tomorrow, and won't have real free time until night time tomorrow, the day of the holiday, so this will likely be the last one, sadly.) I was surprised at how many people voted for this Eboncroft installment for said holiday, and I opted to have them all referencing horror movies that dominate the media of Halloween, mentioning some things I've thought myself. The top scene takes place in Silver Shadow's manor, with three of her family members watching an offscreen movie, and the bottom scene takes place at some unknown villain hang out, where some of Shadow's Rogue's Gallery plays cards. Jester: Well ladies and gents, it's Spoopmas, and everybody's practically demanding the biggest and baddest crime yet.. that really takes the fun out of it for me.. So! why don't we figure out something befitting to watch..
Widow: "Body" Horror.. or sexual horror is the best.
Jester: Are you kidding? you've gotta have the black humor skitters..
Mantis: Ehh, I'm more inclined towards the movies with the charismatic, secret madman, that takes you and all your stuff.
Carnage: Tch, You all don't respect the sheer brutality of disaster? the gore, the devastation and total ruin is best.
Saurian: Meh, I gotta say I'm feelin' something more.. real you know? like, stuff that actually happens.
Fel Moss: *sighs* Well.. if we have to.. I vote monster movies..
*some snickering is heard around the bar*

Meant to comment earlier, but my train of thought was thrown off by an unexpected asthma flare-up and a trip to the doctor's office. But I'm back now, and ready to share my opinions for what they're worth!
Another awesome scene here. Hehe, I always thought what characters do in their downtime reveals aspects of them we wouldn't see otherwise.

Yeah I'm fine, just had to pick up some medicine that I typically use for such outbreaks... Of course what we had was long since either thrown out or lost, and it's been so long since one of these happened I didn't think to get more until now

Awesome picture, a very fun and festive scene for both heroes and villains. Everyone looks great here, the deets on each character is top notch as usual, and nice to see heroes getting some downtime, I feel like we don't see that enough in comics. Also very fun dialogue for both scene as well, you seemed to have become a master of bantering lol.
Again, excellent job, looking forward to seeing more Eboncroft stuff in the future

Thanks, and yeah, dat spoopy mood they're all discussing. Yeah, naturally they'd all have downtime, like the Jester said, everyone expects a big heist on Halloween, so even the baddies were taking the night off lol. Yeah they definitely don't show downtime much.. I think DC's more opposed to that than Marvel is tho, as they think that you don't want to see the relatability. oh? a master of bantering? lol, thanks a lot, though I'm not totally sure of it myself.
