This is my design for skekOk the Historian as he appears in my upcoming The Dark Crystal Fan Story Trilogy.

Gender: None (referred to as Male)

Height: 5 Feet

Age: 990 Years

Place of origin: The Castle of the Crystal

Personality: While most of the Skeksis are usually lazy, none are more slothful than skekOk. As The Castle's Historian, it is skekOk's job to curate the Castle Library and keep close guard of the Skeksis history scrolls. skekOk considers it a rather dull job as no one has attempted to steal something from the library in many centuries, and since the library is forbidden from most Gelfling (and since most of the other Skeksis don't do much reading) the Historian will usually spend his working hours sleeping at his desk, this has caused him to often turn up late to the Skeksis meetings and banquets. skekOk is the least honest of his brethren, because he lies so often the other Skeksis (even the Emperor) aren't sure if he is telling the truth or not. The only work skekOk is likely to do is to rewrite historical accounts to benefit his constantly changing allies. Hidden behind his sleepy eyes is a wicked mind that delights in using his skilled lies to manipulate the gentle Gelfling.
