More Smacky Worldbuilding!
Of course, this being a fictional setting where clowns and humans (I'd call em Rosies or Mellies, but those just might be clown slurs for humans instead), why wouldn't I tackle the oddity that is the "Monster Clown".
In this universe, while the more spiritual or earth-based version of this trope is a possibility, the following actually tackle the versions from other planets.
To the left, we have Caulronites; denizens from the lost world of Caulros-5. These beings are more based on the "Monster Clown" trope as seen in "Killer Clowns from Outer Space". These space clowns descend from a race of gruesome conquest hungry marauders that has long since been thwarted and hunted down by the thousands by outside allied forces, forcing the surviving members of their race to take refuge in other, smaller planets such as the Earth. Caulronites are generally of a brutish and ghoulish disposition, and take pleasure in intimidating and terrorizing their planetary co-inhabitants, of just being generally unpleasant to everyone around them. The main goal of their kind, especially their settlers on earth, has all but fallen to the wayside, but you can always count on them to contribute to a lion's share of crime in whatever settlement they find themselves in.
And to the right, we have the Haunkians, a highly advanced, pacifistic society from the planet Honkulus Prime. On the opposite side of the spectrum, they are a peace-loving race of gelatin-like creatures with features that are very similar to our planet's clowns but on a more alien frame. These people are very curious and driven by the pursuit of knowledge and understanding. They also communicate telepathically, but only with those they establish a psychic link with. Said link is established when their lips come in contact with whoever they seek to communicate with (Smacky would have a field day with that).
